The stay at the hotel was pleasant. The staff were incredibly nice, especially this chap called Liam. I definitely recommend staying here.
Great location, 5 minute walk from the train station. Plenty of pubs and places to eat within walking distance. The hotel was warm and charming with loads of character. Liam, the hotel manager is an absolute gentleman. I had clothes that needed washing and he offered to wash and dry them for me at the hotel. Priced well, great value for what is offered, if ever traveling thru Motherwell again, I am 100% staying here.
Tiny castle hotel! Yes please! They were doing some remodeling, but we had hot breakfast cooked especially for our group. First day a full Scottish breakfast. The next few days we were on the run kayaking so Liam made use sandwiches Togo! Great staff! Outstanding customer service. Brand new super soft bed, I slept like a baby. Short walk from train, shops and restaurants. Great value! Thank you Liam for a Great Stay!!!
Has a lovely few night spent here with my sister. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had everything we needed from tea coffee to a shower and a bath as well as working tv and a lovely view.
The hotel is exceptionally amazing, and the staff has excellent customer service. The room service was good, they cleaned the room every morning when i was out exploring Scotland. Ask the staff for anything and they be happy to help you out without ease.
Fabulous food for our Christmas Dinner. Excellent, courteous staff who remained calm and friendly despite being busy and there not being many of them. The chef and kitchen staff served up a delicious meal, including a wonderfully refreshing champagne sorbet. We'll definitely be back
Booked a room here last minute and phoned while heading up to Scotland to see if I could possibly change my twin beds to a double. I spoke to a lovely lady called Julie and she said she'd try to change it for me. Upon arrival the request was granted. Very happy :) The room was beautiful, warm and spotless. I would definitely recommend staying here. Parking on site is a absolute bonus.
Had a lovely 1 night stay here as I was attending a family function at Motherwell FC. Hotel is a 6 min walk from the train station. Angela checked me in and was very pleasant and helpful. Room was on the top floor which was fine and was very quiet. Room was small but very clean so well done Housekeeping! Bed linen was lovely and I had a fantastic sleep.Breakfast was excellent Full Scottish with coffee & apple juice, Angela served me and again very pleasant, she seems to do a few jobs and works hard. I do think a bit of money could be spent decorating corridors and updating dining room and bathrooms. But it hasn't put me off I will be back
